Privacy & cookies
This notice explains what personal information AHM Events Ltd, trading as AHM Live Events (“AHM”, “we”, “us”), collects when you use www.ahm.events, why we collect it, and the rights you have over it. It is written to meet the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018, and the EU GDPR (which applies to our activities in Spain).
Who we are
AHM Events Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17407358) that stages live entertainment on the Costa Blanca, Spain, under the name AHM Live Events. Our registered office is 12 Mill Meadow, Shrewsbury, United Kingdom, SY2 6EU. For anything to do with your personal data, contact us at danielle@ahm-events.com.
What we collect and why
Enquiries you send us. If you use the enquiry form (or email us), we receive the name, email address and message you choose to give us. We use this only to answer you and, if you go on to book with us or work with us, to arrange that. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) and, where relevant, taking steps to enter into a contract with you. Depending on how the form is set up, your message is either sent from your own email app straight to us, or passed to us by a form-delivery service acting on our instructions.
Ticket bookings. We don’t sell tickets on this site. “Book tickets” links take you to the venue’s own booking site (for example Benidorm Palace), which has its own privacy notice and handles your payment and booking details itself.
Technical information. Like any website, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical details when you visit — your IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time — in server logs used to keep the site secure and working. We don’t use these logs to identify you. Lawful basis: legitimate interests (running a secure website).
Staff logins. Team members who edit the site log in through a separate admin area. Their email address and login activity are processed for that purpose only.
What we don’t do
- We don’t run advertising, tracking or analytics tools on the site.
- We don’t sell or rent your information to anyone.
- We don’t send marketing emails from this site. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent first and every message will include an unsubscribe link.
Cookies
The public website does not set cookies and does not use any tracking technologies, so you won’t see a cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to. Fonts, images and code are all served from our own domain rather than pulled in from third parties. (The staff admin area stores a login token in the browser purely so editors stay signed in; that area is not part of the public site.)
Who we share information with
We use a small number of service providers to run the site. They only process data on our instructions:
- Railway Corporation (hosting the website) — privacy policy
- GitHub, Inc. (storing the site’s code and content) — privacy statement
- Netlify, Inc. (staff login for the admin area only) — privacy policy
- Our email provider, and — if configured — a form-delivery service, to deliver enquiries to us.
Some of these providers are based in the United States. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK/EEA, it is protected by the providers’ standard contractual clauses and/or their participation in the UK–US and EU–US Data Privacy Frameworks.
We may also share information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights, our audiences or our staff.
How long we keep information
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, and are then deleted — as a rule no longer than two years after our last contact, unless there’s a legal or accounting reason to keep them longer. Server logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short rolling period.
Your rights
You have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and (where it applies) to have it transferred to you or another organisation. Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time.
To use any of these rights, email danielle@ahm-events.com. We’ll respond within one month. There’s no charge, though we may need to confirm your identity first.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information you can complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk) or, in Spain, to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (aepd.es). We’d appreciate the chance to put things right first.
Links to other sites
Our site links to third-party sites such as venue booking pages, Facebook and Instagram. Those sites have their own privacy notices and we aren’t responsible for how they handle your information.
Changes to this notice
We’ll update this page if our practices change and show the date at the top. Significant changes will be flagged on the site.
